AQA Combined Science: Synergy Content

The AQA Synergy specification organises subject content into eight main interconnected areas, supported by overarching scientific key ideas.

01

What is Combined Science: Synergy?

AQA Combined Science: Synergy is designed to help students understand the connections between Biology, Chemistry and Physics, rather than treating the three sciences entirely separately. The course brings scientific ideas together through interconnected themes covering life and environmental sciences alongside physical sciences.

Students May Work Across

  • Atomic Structure
  • Bonding
  • Forces
  • Energy
  • Electricity
