11+ Exam Preparation
Prepare with Confidence. Aim for Your First-Choice School.
Our 11+ Exam Preparation Programme is designed to help students build the academic knowledge, reasoning skills, exam technique and confidence needed for selective school entrance.
From Year 3 to Year 5, students can follow a structured preparation pathway covering English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Creative Writing and problem-solving.
Whether your child is preparing for a grammar school, selective independent school or another competitive entrance assessment, our programme can be tailored around the requirements of their target schools and exam format.
The basics
The 11+ is an entrance assessment used by many selective and grammar schools in England. It is generally taken during Year 5 or Year 6, depending on the school and area, for entry into Year 7.
There is no single 11+ paper used by every school. Different schools and regions may use different assessment providers and formats, so preparation should always be aligned with the schools you are targeting.
For example, the West Midlands Grammar Schools group uses a common test across its participating schools, while Buckinghamshire operates a Secondary Transfer Test.
Target School Preparation: Preparation is shaped around the assessment provider, subjects and format used by the schools on your list.
